These Junior sized building blocks are fully compatible with DUPLO® sized building blocks from other manufacturers.

The USB power unit features 4 different lighting functions:

1. The illuminated STAX blocks turn on and glow continuously (press the button on the power unit once; it will glow green). If you forget to turn off the USB power unit, it will automatically shut off after 15 minutes.

2. The illuminated STAX blocks flash (press the button on the power unit twice; it will glow blue). If you forget to turn off the USB power unit, it will automatically shut off after 15 minutes.

3. The illuminated STAX blocks fade in and out (press the button on the power unit three times; it will glow red). If you forget to turn off the USB power unit, it will automatically shut off after 15 minutes.

4. To have the illuminated STAX blocks glow continuously without automatically shutting off after 15 minutes, press and hold the button on the USB power unit for 3-5 seconds; it will glow violet. The violet button color indicates that the 15-minute auto-shutoff timer is deactivated, and the blocks will remain illuminated until you turn them off yourself. When the button color is violet, you can choose the lighting mode by pressing the button: continuous glow, flashing, fade in/out, or turn off completely.
